Is Rivly free to read?+
Every book gives you the first 8 chapters free. After that, each chapter costs 25 coins (or 25 pearls) to unlock. You only pay for what you want to keep reading.
What are coins and pearls?+
Coins are the main currency you buy to unlock chapters. Pearls are bonus currency you earn from rewards and daily tasks (and get bundled with coin packs). Both unlock chapters 1-for-1 — a 25-coin chapter can be opened with 25 pearls instead.
How do I unlock a chapter?+
Read the first 8 chapters free. From chapter 9 on, tap the locked chapter and spend 25 coins or pearls. If you're low on coins, you'll be offered to top up first.
How do I buy coins?+
Go to the Pricing page, pick a coin pack, and pay through our secure Paddle checkout. Coins (plus bonus pearls) are added to your balance right after payment.
What payment methods do you accept?+
Payments are handled securely by Paddle (cards). Rivly never stores your card details.
Can I get a refund?+
Once coins from a purchase have been used to unlock any chapter, that purchase is final. If you haven't used any coins from a recent purchase, email admin@myrivly.app within 7 days and we'll review your case individually.
How do I sign in?+
You can sign in with email and password, or with Google or Facebook. Use the same method each time so your balance and reading history stay together.
I saw an error while signing in with Google — what do I do?+
Sometimes a brief error can flash even though you're actually signed in — just refresh the page. If you really can't get in, email admin@myrivly.app and we'll help.
How do I install the Rivly app?+
On iPhone: tap the Share button at the top of the browser, then "Add to Home Screen". On Android: tap "Install" when the prompt appears. The app then works like a normal app on your home screen.
Where do I see my balance and purchase history?+
Open your Account page — it shows your coins, pearls, and your transaction history. Your reading progress is under Recently Read.
How do I reach a real person?+
Email us at admin@myrivly.app. We usually reply within 24–48 hours.
